Sunday will be the third day of the 2012 Vegas Summer League, where a few NBA teams, like the San Antonio Spurs, will be playing their first game.

Even though there won’t be any superstar players at the summer league, there are still plenty of reasons to watch the young players compete.

Let’s look at when and where you can watch all of Sunday’s matchups.

New York Knicks vs. Phoenix Suns

When: 1:00 p.m. PT

Watch: NBATV

Where: COX Pavilion

The Suns will be an exciting team to watch with Kendall Marshall highlighting their roster. Their matchup with the Knicks should be a high-scoring game.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Denver Nuggets

When: 3:00 p.m. PT

Watch: NBATV

Where: COX Pavilion

The Mavericks will rely on their veterans this season, while the Nuggets’ playoff chances will be determined by the performance of several talented young players. This is a very even summer league matchup.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Atlanta Hawks

When: 5:00 p.m. PT

Watch: NBATV

Where: COX Pavilion

The Hawks will be closely watching their young players at the Vegas Summer League since there could be roster spots up for grabs in training camp. The Spurs are a team whose success is determined by veterans, but the team needs to continue to get younger in order to remain competitive long term.

Washington Wizards vs. NBA D-League

When: 7:00 p.m. PT

Watch: NBATV

Where: COX Pavilion

The Wizards will have first-round pick Bradley Beal going up against some players from the NBA’s Development League on Sunday, which should be exciting to watch.
