The Cleveland Cavaliers look to be one of the most interesting teams in the NBA as the trade deadline rapidly approaches considering the assets they have and the space they have on their roster.

Cleveland currently has two highly valued players who don’t necessarily fit into their long-term plans in Antawn Jamison and Ramon Sessions, and beyond that, they have over $7 million in cap space to fiddle with if they’re interested in taking on a bad contract.

In Jamison, Cleveland has one of the most valuable expiring contracts, as Jamison is over $15 million of salary coming off their books in the spring, something many teams would enjoy. Beyond that, Jamison is actually playing well and he would be a neat addition to a handful of contending teams who need that stretch 4.

Then there’s Ramon Sessions, who will be relegated to a long-distance backup point guard for the Cavs if they’re able to re-sign him past this season, but many out there think he could be a decent starter. Sessions is gifted offensively and work with Byron Scott has turned him into a better passer over the past two seasons.

Aside from those two guys, they have a roster full of players they probably would be willing to move, all it would take is the right package coming back in return.

But for now, let’s take a look at the rumblings and grumblings we’ve heard involving the Cleveland Cavaliers so far.
